We believe children are a vital part of our church body, and we value their participation in the life of the church. We believe that we have the privilege of training them early in what it looks like to be active, engaged participants in the worship service – singing the songs we sing, hearing corporate prayer modeled, and yes, even sitting under the teaching of the Word of God with adults.

To that end, the curriculum that we’ve purchased for Children’s Church only extends as far as the third-grade level. Starting no later than fourth grade, we ask your cooperation in having your kids remain seated with you during the sermon. We know quite well how distracting that can be, but we feel it’s vital to their spiritual growth that we give them truths from the Word of God that they can grow into.

We strongly encourage you to check out the curriculum that we use for both Sunday School and Children’s Church. For the 9:30am Sunday School hour, we use The Gospel Project. During the sermon, children in third grade and under are dismissed for a lesson from Answers Bible Curriculum.

For those with infant children through preschoolers, we also have nursery care available if you so desire. All of our children’s ministry volunteers have completed background checks on file, and they are in a wing of the building that doesn’t have any access from the outside.
